Apply for Graduation through your mySDCCD portal

Graduation Forms:

To view your graduation status, log into your mySDCCD Student Portal, go to the My Academics section, and click “View Graduation Status.”

Graduation Deadlines

Graduation is not automatic upon completion of requirements.

Feb 15, 2025

Deadline to apply for Graduation for students completing an Associate Degree for Transfer and transferring to a CSU in Fall 2025.

March 15, 2025

Deadline to apply for Graduation and ensure that your name appears in the official commencement program.

April 30, 2025

Deadline to apply for Graduation for students completing an associate degree in Spring 2025.

Submit a Petition for Graduation

Apply for graduation though your MySDCCD portal. Under My Academics on the left-hand side of your student portal, click Apply for Graduation next to your program/major name. Please note that if you do not see your degree and/or certificate displayed, please meet with a counselor to add or remove the appropriate academic plan(s). Be sure to click SUBMIT at the end. Students must complete a minimum of 12 degree applicable units at the college granting the associate degree. If you have any questions regarding your submission of your petition, please contact our Evaluations Office. For more information regarding your academic plan, please contact the Counseling Department or go to http://emg-groups.com/students/counseling/index.aspx.

Official Diploma

Expect your official diploma via U.S. mail within eight weeks after the end of the semester. Diplomas are issued after completion and verification of graduation requirements and sent to name and address on record
