There are signs with campus location numbers and instructions at each permit machine on campus and on the Parking Services page at www.sdccd.edu/about/departments-and-offices/police-department/.

Faculty/staff parking permits are required Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Disabled Person Parking is available on all campuses and district facilities, wherever the wheelchair symbol appears on a parking lot sign. Students, staff and visitors with disabilities displaying a valid state-issued placard or license plate may utilize any designated disabled parking as well as parking reserved for use by faculty, staff, students or administrators. Valid placards will be honored in metered spaces without depositing coins and time restricted spaces until 11 p.m. Temporary disabled permits are available to students through the DSPS offices on campus (A doctor's letter requesting accommodation is required). Disabled person parking privileges are often abused. Help eliminate placard abuse and protect your parking privileges by never allowing your placard to be used by anyone else (including family members and friends). Vehicles parked in disabled spaces without a disabled placard and/or plates may be cited. All disabled placard holders are required to present placard identification, upon request, to law enforcement officers or persons authorized to enforce parking laws, ordinances, or regulations (CVC section 22507.56). Disabled person placards found being used by someone other than placard owner will be cited and the placard confiscated. Disabled parking violations are currently $450. Disabled placards/plates cannot be used to park in yellow or white loading zone except for purposes of immediate loading/unloading of disabled passengers, authorized vehicle only spaces/areas, electric vehicle charging spaces, spaces reserved for guests, carpool spaces and spaces reserved for specific types of vehicles such as police vehicles and facilities vehicles.

Vehicles must display a valid parking permit and must be actively charging while parked in the space with a 4 hour maximum time limit. Disabled vehicles parked in Disabled charging spaces must have a valid disabled placard/plate displayed and must be actively charging. Refer to the Blink website for locations, hours and cost of service.
